Na próxima quinta-feira, dia 11 de outubro, às 17h, na sala 1201, o Curso de Relações Internacionais da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) promoverá uma palestra, em formato de videoconferência, com o prof. Dr. Fabrício Henricco Chagas Bastos, intitulada "Briefing note como ferramenta pedagógica para o ensino de relações internacionais". As inscrições são gratuitas e ocorrerão no local. Serão emitidos certificados de ouvinte através do Projeto III Ciclo de Palestras de Relações Internacionais.

Sobre o convidado:

Fabrício Henricco Chagas Bastos: Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Melbournes School of Psychological Sciences. Former Lecturer at the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), Australian National University (Australia) and at the Grande Dourados Federal University (Brazil). Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (Canada) and Endeavour Fellowships (Australia) Alumnus. PhD in Latin American Studies (University of Sao Paulo and Carleton University). Postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge and the Australian National University. Specialised in the intersection of International Relations and Social Psychology, his research takes an interdisciplinary approach with the broad aim to study the political, economic and developmental challenges faced by the Global South. More specifically, he investigates the psychology that arises from resource scarcity. In one line of work, he studies how behavioural science can help shape interventions to reduce poverty and inequality. In another line of work, his research focuses on intergroup relations, with specific emphasis on the association between stereotyping and behaviour.
